“Ostróda Yacht” – more than an employer.
The Company has a positive organisational structure and participates in the life of the local community. It is an active patron of culture and sport, including the main sponsor of the OKS “Sokół” football club of Ostróda ‒ a club linked to the company with over 70 years of tradition. We support charity, sport, cultural and educational activity in the area of the city and commune of Ostróda and Ostródzki county. We feel a part of the local community. By extending our activity and creating new work places, we contribute to the social and economic growth of our city and an increase in the wealth of the region and its residents.

The amount of remuneration and possibilities of promotion are determined solely on the basis of qualifications and quality of performed work.
Employees of the Company improve their professional qualifications during various courses, seminars, symposiums, conferences and training. Professional development concerns, among others, the principles of accounting and finances, labour law, quality and English and French language learning, technological operation standardisation, use of computer-aided design software, database service, robotised processing lines and stations, tax and customs law, logistics and purchases.
We also finance employee professional development, including Master’s degree studies, postgraduate studies and retraining. The company has its own professional training centre with modern equipment, in which experienced employees train (in the form of theoretical lectures and practical workshop classes) new workers in the trades: yacht structure former (plastics former) and yacht fitter and electrical fitter.
For over 10 years, we have been cooperating with a (vocational) secondary school in teaching electrical mechanics. In our company, students learn the trade in practice.
We actively cooperate with the Regional Employment Office, organising professional training for the unemployed.
We are a partner of the Faculty of Ocean Engineering and Ship Technology of the Technical University of Gdańsk in the area of organisation of student internships and assistance in post-secondary studies.
“Ostróda Yacht” is a co-founder and active member of the Polish Chamber of the Yacht Industry and Water Sports. Our representatives sit on the Management Board of the Chamber and are members of the European Boating Industry, a yacht industry association based in Brussels.
