WOOD TECHNOLOGIST
Tasks:
- ongoing collaboration and support for the internal carpentry department, particularly in nesting operations on CNC machines;
- analysis of the obtained design documentation and proposing technological solutions; optimization of methods in terms of the production cycle;
- conducting measurements and determining material and time standards;
- preparing and updating technological documentation;
- testing and implementing new materials and machine systems.
Candidate requirements:
- education: bachelor or master degree (engineer) in the field of technology or vocational qualification in wood technology or furniture manufacturing, with practical experience;
- knowledge of AutoCAD software;
- Considered an advantage:
– knowledge of Rhinoceros/Catia/Alma software;
– experience in furniture design, production and assembly; - good command of English (spoken and written);
- ability to plan and monitor activities in terms of cost and efficiency;
- creativity, diligence, and good work organization;
- strong communication skills.

The recruitment process, both at the initial stage (application screening) and the main stage (interview), is conducted directly by the manager of the team the future employee will join.
Selected candidates will have the opportunity to visit the shipyard during the recruitment process. This visit will allow them to get to know the company – particularly parts of the production process and the engineering team – and gain a full understanding of future goals and working conditions.
